Our general meeting will be held this Thursday evening. We will discuss the upcoming elections in May, among other things. There will also be a member’s exhibit of writing objects, instead of the planned activity with Mr. Makhfi on Arabic calligraphy, which had to be cancelled.

Les Calmars, which includes some members of La Société des calligraphes de Montréal, have worked together for six years on traditional and contemporary calligraphy. Following their exhibition presented in Baie-Saint-Paul last summer, they present their fourth exhibition, entitled “Gestes d’encre et… “ The opening will be held March 16th at Gallery Mile-End and the show will continue until March 25th.
