In the preceding article, we mentioned the calligraphic activity, Mots Croisés, where three of our members each presented a particular lettering type: Mohammed Makhfi (Arabic), Marion Zimmer (Hebrew), Marco Chioini (Latin). They were also accompagnied by Claire Sugaï (Japanese). The following photographs were taken at this activity which was held on August 12 in Montreal’s Old Port.

Mohammed Makhfi, Marion Zimmer, Marco Chioini, three of our membres, and a fourth calligrapher, Claire Sugai, will participate in a calligraphy activity entitled Mots croisés which will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. on August 12 in Montreal’s Old Port. Accompanied by both sacred and electronic music with Paul Baraka, our calligraphers will demonstrate four lettering styles: Arabic, Hebrew, Japanese and Latin.
