Où: L’assemblée se tiendra au centre Monkland 4410, avenue West Hill, Montréal H4B 2S9, métro Villa-Maria, autobus 162 ou 103.
Activité: Transférer une image sur papier et calligraphier une citation.
Matériel: Apportez un pinceau plat (environ 3/4 po) et vos outils d’écriture préférés (plumes, encre, etc.). La Société fournira le papier et le médium pour le transfert de l’image. Vous pouvez apporter une photocopie laser d’une image ayant comme thème la musique (pas de photo).
Démonstration de la technique du transfert d’image par Yolande Lessard, suivi d’une démonstration de calligraphie par Joy Deneen.
Galerie calligraphique sous le thème « La musique des mots ». Amenez un projet ou une ébauche de projet.
Bienvenue à tous les membres peu importe votre niveau calligraphique. Amenez un non-membre. Une belle occasion de rencontrer d’autres membres, d’échanger et de participer à une activité.

Activity: Transfer an image on paper and write a quote in calligraphy.
Material: Bring a flat brush (approx. 3/4 inches) and your favourite writing tools (pen, ink, etc.). The Société will supply the paper and medium for the image transfer. You can bring a laser photocopy of an image related to music (no photo).

Gallery hour: Suggested theme « The music of words ». Bring a finished piece or work in progress.
Welcome to all members, no matter what your level of skill. Bring a non-member. This is a wonderful opportunity to exchange with other calligraphers, and participate in an activity.
